  • Jay Reister
    • Golf Course and Grounds Superintendent

      Jay Reister, the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club’s Golf Course and Grounds Superintendent, directs a staff of more than 40 landscape professionals to ensure that the Club’s two golf courses are maintained to the highest standards year round. Additionally, he oversees the manicuring and beautification of not only the Inn’s 300 acres but also the 10 acres featured at the neighboring Lodge & Club. A Ponte Vedra Beach native, his extensive golf course management career spans more than twenty-five years, the past sixteen at the Inn & Club. The Northern Chapter of the North Florida Section, PGA of America has recognized Jay as the 2014 Golf Course Superintendent of the Year. He was selected from superintendents throughout north Florida in recognition of his contributions to golf course conditions, labor and budget management and service to golf clientele.
  • Jim Howard
    • Director of Golf

      Jim is a member of the PGA of America. Jim was born and raised in Coral Gables, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. Jim has been married 36 years to Karin, and they have two adult daughters. In his spare time, Jim enjoys spending time with his family and following the Gators in any sport they happen to be playing.
  • Bruce Mohler
    • Head Golf Professional

      Bruce was born in Mexico City, Mexico, moved to Austin, Texas at age 12 and then moved to Gainesville, Florida for college. He has been with Ponte Vedra Inn and Club since 1995. He and his wife are blessed to have 2 girls, Sydney and Reese. He is a member of The PGA of America. He enjoys watching college football, basketball and fishing.
  • Adam Fricke
    • Assistant Golf Professional

      Adam grew up in the small town of Pendleton, IN. He fell in love with the game at an early age when his parents bought him a set of clubs when he was three. After competing in small local events he went on to play the Mt. Dew Jr Tour and eventually qualified for the Aquafina Masters Tour. After High School he wanted to turn his love for the game into a career, so he enrolled into the Golf Academy of America and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management. He went to work for the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club in 2009 as an Assistant Golf Professional. During his four years as a golf professional Adam had the pleasure of teaching some of the best junior golfers in the world. He looks forward to continuing his career as a successful golf professional and instructor in the future.
  • Courtney Figueroa
    • Courtney was born in Bronxville, New York and then moved to Naples, Florida.  She played golf on a full scholarship at Florida Gulf Coast University and studied elementary education.  She enjoys teaching, especially clinics for ladies and children.  During her time away from Ponte Vedra Inn and Club she has a very strong desire to improve her golf game and practices as often as she can.
  • Grace Hurley

      Grace Schory grew up in Washington State in the summers and spent her winters in Snowbird, UT. She obtained her Class A PGA Card from the University of Idaho,  where she also played Division 1 collegiate golf. 

  • Ashley Markey
    • Ashley was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She studied marketing, management and economics at Florida Atlantic University and is now also working for  She has been with the golf staff since June 2016.
